There is a new feature in Google Drive (rolling out over the next week) that will make your life so much easier.

There will now be an activity feed built into drive that will give you a real time view of which of your documents and folders are being updated by others.

Use case #1: If you are having students turn in work or edit documents that are in a folder that you have access to, you can get quick easy updates on who has turned in work and who is actually doing work in real time without going in to each document.

Use case #2: If you have a shared lesson plan folder with your team, you can quickly see who has added to your folder or edited your work.
