2.1 TPACK Activity


TPACK Activity Instructions:
  • Break into groups (these groups should be as heterogenous in terms of subject areas as possible)
  • Prepare the spreadsheet (one per group)
    • One group member will open up the TPACK Activity spreadsheet and make a copy of it (?)
    • Rename it "Group #X TPACK Activity"  
    • Share the retitled spreadsheet with other group members so each has editing rights (?)
    • Each group member opens the activity spreadsheet in their Google Drive "Shared with me" folder.
  • As a group
    • Discuss the established goal.
    • Choose from the lists or enter your own text to identify learning activities that would help students learn the established goal
    • Choose from the lists or enter your own text to identify technologies that would assist teachers to teach and students learn (or communicate that they have learned) the established goal
    • Choose from the lists or enter your own text to identify what ITES (Information & Technology Essential Standards) are being met with the identified learning activity and technology integration
    • Enter your explanation of how marrying the three Technology, Content, and Pedagogy (TPACK) would possibly be effective 
  • Repeat for all 7 established goals on the spreadsheet.
  • Share your spreadsheet with jerry.williamson@dpsnc.net.
  • Present & get immediate feedback during the share session.
