Session Overview and Purpose


This session will utilize resources such as the NC professional standards and rubrics to prepare school library media coordinators and instructional technology facilitators for their new evaluation instrument. 

Session Description:
Through collaborative activities, participants will apply the NC professional standards and rubrics to their practice.

Session Objectives:
  • Engage and equip school library media coordinators and instructional technology facilitators with relevant knowledge, skills, tools, and resources to implement the new evaluation process
  • Identify strategies to enable school library media coordinators and instructional technology facilitators to meet rubric descriptors in their practice
Learning Outcomes:
After this session, participants will be able to:
  • Apply the NC professional standards and rubric for school library media coordinators and instructional technology facilitators to their practice
  • Describe the steps of the evaluation process
  • Identify appropriate artifacts to be used in the evaluation process
