  • Guidelines for Testing Students with Disabilities - This document discusses all of the guidelines for testing students that are ELL/EC Dully identified.

  • DPS Request for Change in ESL Services - This document is to be used when a parent wants to reduce the services that their LEP child receives to supportive or transitional, and your schools LEP Team has met about the change.
  • LIEP Plan - Guidelines on level of service that should be assigned to an LEP student according to test scores and years in US Schools. Provides guidelines on number of times, and length of time a student at a particular level of service should be pulled for services.

  • 9-12 LEP Plan This should have been provided to you. You should have also met with your LEP Team to determine the classroom modifications, level of service, and testing accommodations that will be attached to this plan on the State Testing Accommodations Chart.
  • LEP Accommodations Documentation for DPS 2015-16 - This form should be completed along with your LEP Team and attached to your LEP Plans to satisfy the testing accommodation requirement for those students who will receive accommodations.
  • State Review of Accommodations for testing - This should be filled out with the accommodations from the State Testing Accommodations Chart to be used with any of the state tests that are listed on the State Testing Accommodations Chart.  This should be done at the beginning of May for Elementary and Middle Schools.  For High Schools, this should be filled out when requested by your school level testing coordinator or at least 30 days in advance of any state test or EOC.

    • ACCESS Teacher Reports (current and past)
    • LEP Plan (current and past)
    • Summary of Accommodations, if applicable (current and past)
    • Review of Accommodations from prior administrations of EOGs/EOCs, or ROAs that are completed after the test is administered so that the info can be considered when assigning accommodations the following year.
