Letters of Support

Durham Public Schools understands the importance of educational research grants. The Office of Research and Accountability works with our partners to provide letters of support for research grant submissions and facilitates the research review process for funded projects. Approval for all research requests is contingent on its substantial and direct alignment with the DPS’ Graduate Durham Initiative and the Superintendent’s goals.  All requests should be directed to Dr. Amy Davis, Coordinator of Grants, Research, and Development. The process map (below) provides additional information on the research grants process.

Please note that the materials for all letter of support requests must be received 7 business days prior to the grant deadline.
