Total = 2.0 CEUs (may qualify for literacy CEUs for non-mathematics teachers) Sessions will be offered at a variety of times (i.e., teacher workdays, after school, Saturdays, and during regular schools days). 1. In early September, 2013, all DPS teachers will receive an email from SAM Connect [do-not-reply@scholastic.com] and the subject line will be: You Now Have Access to Scholastic U.
2. Teachers who opt to complete the online course should use this information to access your respective Scholastic U course, as identified below.
3. Teachers must register in MyLearningPlan®.

**Schools may attend sessions for the other calendar, with principal’s approval and support; that is, a year-round teacher may attend a session on a traditional workday, or vice versa. Schools are responsible for securing substitute teachers or class coverage. If this option is favorable, it is recommended that one substitute teacher is used to cover one teacher for the morning session and another teacher for the afternoon session.
