The Career Development Coordinator supports Career and Technical Education and coordinates career development services for students. The CDC works collaboratively with administrators, student services personnel, teachers, families, and the community to ensure the delivery of career development services. Coordinating activities to assist students in developing a personalized four-year career readiness plan with appropriate and aligned educational choices
Provide transitional assistance to students at pivotal points such as entry into high school and from high school to career, postsecondary, and/or military
Establish partnerships between the school and the community that offers support for CTE and opportunities for students
Publicize CTE programs and accomplishments within the school and community to raise awareness of educational and career opportunities
