Who is the Director of Arts Education?
Answer: Lester Turner currently serves as the Director of Arts Education. Some of his main roles are to oversee the entire Arts Education Department.

Answer: The position is vacant currently, former Arts Specialist Katy Culberson is currently serving in the role until it is filled. Some of her main roles include working with the Director of Arts and helping Event Coordinators plan District Events.

Answer: Your Lead Teacher (s), we ask that you do not send a mass email to your PLC but rather go through your lead

I am a new teacher (or new to DPS teacher), who can I contact when I have questions?
Answer: We have a team of teachers dedicated to helping our new to DPS teachers. They host monthly meetings as well so please reach out so you can join!
Who should I communicate concerns or needs of my department to?
Answer: Lead Teachers, or at the high school level - Department Chairs
