Courseware is one of Edmentum’s eLearning course catalogs. DPS utilizes this platform to develop customized credit recovery courses that align with the North Carolina Standard Course of Study as well as DPS curriculum pacing. Courses include a pre-test for each unit that provide students an opportunity to demonstrate skills previously learned. Any skill a student demonstrates mastery on during the pretest will be marked as “exempt.”
Flex Assignments is a tool any secondary teacher may use for customized assignments for content recovery or acceleration. These can be assigned to specific students and/or groups with the ability to add other instructors to monitor progress. They can also be integrated into Canvas.
ACT and ACT WorkKeys preparation material for each content is optional for high schools. Schools can decide how they wish to use this resource, either by assigning the full courses to all sophomores or juniors, or by creating Flex Assignments.
